About Me
Holidays in the Florida Keys and summers exploring the rivers of Southern Maryland as a child shaped Christine McNall’s affinity for the water. She harnesses these early exposures and her waterman experiences as her inspiration for many of her realistic paintings today. Water on her canvas represents serenity, an emotional state which is able to withstand the chaos of modern day life. Numerous dimensions formed by water from the tides, the wind, the sun and moon create nature’s own canvas mimicking the spectrum of human emotions. With her use of soft hues and her purposeful brush strokes, she creates a tranquil mood that transcends every day life. Many of her painting’s singular focus provide the viewer an opportunity to form a deep connection to the image within their own lives.
